XYZ is a strong believer in our community. Knowing how charities this past year have been adversely effected; we are happy to announce, on behalf of our clients, we’ve made a monetary donation to the following organizations:
Creativity Explored – San Francisco, CA
Creativity Explored is a nonprofit visual arts center where artists with developmental disabilities create, exhibit, and sell art. Creativity Explored was founded in 1983 by Florence and Elias Katz, on the principle that all people have the ability to create, and that visual artistic expression is a viable means to self-growth. Since that date, people with disabilities working at Creativity Explored have established themselves as talented artists making significant contributions to the Bay Area arts community.
Inner-City Arts – Los Angeles, CA
Inner-City Arts, widely regarded as one of the nation’s most effective arts education providers,
is an oasis of learning, achievement and creativity in the heart of Skid Row, and a vital partner
in the work of creating a safer, healthier Los Angeles. Building bridges between the arts and academic subjects, Inner-City Arts’ unique approach to
arts education measurably improves academic and personal outcomes for children and youth
from high poverty neighborhoods, including students with limited English proficiency at risk
of academic failure.
Project YES – Lafayette, CO
Project YES provides leadership opportunities for diverse young people through the arts and service learning. For over 17 years, Project YES has been providing year-round, youth development programming to disadvantaged East Boulder County youth, ages 5-18. The Youth Center, the Service Learning Partnership, Lafayette Youth and Families Transitioning in Schools (LYFTS) and Art in the Community represent Project YES’s principal programs.
