May 07, 2008
San Francisco, CA – XYZ, the leading West Coast creative support service provider for advertising agencies, photographers, designers, and corporations, announced today that it has received a Best Places to Work in the Bay Area award from the San Francisco Business Times, Silicon Valley Business Journal, and East Bay Business Times.
XYZ ranked #7 out of the top 25 companies with 51-100 employees in the 2008 results, announced at a gala event in San Francisco on April 29. The rankings were based on results from employee surveys provided by Quantum Market Research, which focused on overall work environment and benefits.
"It’s a great honor that XYZ has been acknowledged as a terrific place to work," said Steve Waterloo, President of XYZ. "We strive everyday to help make a creative and supportive work environment, and understand that our success is entirely dependent on the folks who work here."
In 2001, a pair of San Francisco graphics experts named Steve Waterloo and Sean McGlynn were growing tired of the sameness that prevailed in the prepress industry. They were enthralled by new technology, and yearned to see creative energy put to good use. They formed a company called XYZ, and lured the best of the industry to their sides by offering them creative challenges and a collaborative environment. Soon, the company became and continues to be the go-to solution for clients who believe that the creative process doesn't stop until the product is in front of the public. Today, XYZ provides creative support solutions for a roster of award-winning visual professionals. For additional information on XYZ please visit www.xyzgraphics.com.
