XYZ Brings on Three New CGI Artists
Leading Image Creation Studio Continues Recruiting For It’s CGI Department

San Francisco, CA – XYZ Graphics, a leading creative services, image creation and post-production studio, today announced the addition of three CGI Artists: Robert Garcia, David Shorey, and Gordon Henson. They come to XYZ with extensive Synthetic Imaging experience. Their expertise will be vital as XYZ sees continued growth with its CGI group.
“Robert, David, and Gordon are coming onboard at an exciting time at XYZ,” said Kevin Tahara, Director of CGI. “ As our clients continue to expand the usage of their creative assets, it’s pivotal that we have seasoned artists that have experience integrating 2D & 3D imagery for print, broadcast and interactive.”
Before joining XYZ, Robert Garcia worked with Walt Disney Animation Studios as Assistant Technical Director, most recently on the feature film Bolt. Prior to Disney Garcia worked as a 3D Artist for Two Headed Monster where he collaborated on many national interactive campaigns such as Infiniti Automotive, Nissan USA, and Jet Blue Airlines among others.
David Shorey most recently finished a production with MK12 for the feature film James Bond 007 Quantum of Solace. He previously served as a 3D Artist with such renowned studios as Mechnology, Lumeni, and The WOW Factor.
Gordon Henson arrives from Majortom in New York where he recently completed projects for Burberry perfume as well as character and creature animation for American Eagle clothing. Prior to Majortom he worked with Media Jam, Moondog Edit and MTV Networks.
